Following on from news that US streaming service HBO Max is digging into the archives and reviving one of the cable channel's classic shows in True Blood comes news that possibly the biggest series to run there is also coming back, albeit without a key character. Yes, after rumours about movies or total reboots, Sex And The City will return to our screens. Sarah Jessica Parker , Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis are all back as Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York, with the actors posting the news on their social channels (see Parker's post below) and creator Michael Patrick King is once again running the show. As many suspected given the bad blood behind the scenes, Kim Cattrall has opted not to come back as Samantha Jones.

"Interstellar." For a cornfield scene, Christopher Nolan sought to grow five hundred acres of corn, which he learned was feasible from his producing of Man of Steel (2013). The corn was then sold, and actually made a profit.

Sex And The City adapted Candace Bushnell's book, a collection of essays about life and love in New York based on her and her friends' lifestyles into a story of the main foursome finding sex, brunch and fashion. The revival will follow Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s. It is scheduled to begin production in New York late spring and will run (at first) for 10 episodes.

"Pretty Woman." Edward (Richard Gere) snapping the necklace case down on Vivian's (Julia Roberts) fingers, was improvised by Gere, and Roberts's reaction (laughter) was totally natural. The filmmakers liked it so much, they decided to leave it in.
